Yep he skews the #'s in Ottawa's favour for sure, but they can't even get the second spot.. most people are taking LA over them as well
Ottawa 85%, how do you get that

Smith is good, he’ll likely be a very good top-4 d-man in the future similar to Ellis.
Kuokkanen I envision as a solid top-6 forward like Marcus Johansson.
Sharangovich I see him as a solid middle-6 player going forward.
Bastian and Bahl look like they’ll be bottom-6/bottom pairing D respectively.
Compare that to Ottawa who has Stützle which speaks for itself, Norris as a top-6 forward, Formenton as a 3rd liner, Zub as a top-4 then JBD as a bottom pairing guy.
Even if you take out Stützle, it would likely be Ottawa anyway.
how do I get what?
Still a rookie and the same age as Sorokin, and one year older than Kaprizov. Take out Shesterkin and NYR’s rookie pool would still be #1Shesterkin is like 40 years old
It kinda reads like you say LA is ahead of Ottawa in the quoted part.
