So we all know that we are the last Canadian team to win the Cup. We had a few runs in the last few years, namely 2010 and 2014. I was happy to see the young players like Kotkaniemi and Suzuki step up and elevate their game to another level and gain the trust of their coach. As we know, Montreal lacks in size and even though we have Armia for size and Gallagher for grit, I find that is not enough. So now if you were to take one player from the 1993 Cup roster and bring him in as a off season acquisition, who would you chose?
I would choose John LeClair, 6'3, 225 lbs, he would be the perfect addition for our roster, big dude that can go in front of the net.
