Which Is Worse: No Cups In 52 Years Or No Series Wins In 15 Years?

I'm a Maple Leafs fan and I am wondering which of my team's "feats" is worse...

IMO a better question would probably be which is worse between the Leafs winning no cups since 1967 or the Rangers only winning one since 1940.

Cup futility is one thing but it's harder then most realize to win. Think of all the great teams that never won there is plenty. Now to not even win a series to me is kinda crazy in 15 years.

i remember the previous decade my Oilers would usually never get past Dallas in the 1st round, except once, and the "first round and out" was what prompted the Oilers disastrous "complete rebuild" tank job of 2009/2010! so if your team keeps getting to the playoffs and is out in the 1st round, keep trying because it can eventually pay off with not only a trip to the next round or the finals, but an actual cup win, like the Caps finally did last year!!

Obviously any team should be able to win a series, say, once a decade.. Much harder to win 4 series in row with games getting harder series by series..

No cups once this became a more than a handful of teams league.

It's actually more pathetic when you realize back in 90's-early 2000's the Leafs were one of like 7 teams in the NHL that could spend a bunch of money too. It essentially was a repeat of original 6 hockey, and somehow they don't even have a cup final appearance. By sheer chance alone that should have happened.

No Cup isn't a huge statistical anomaly. 1/31 can win in a year, so going a little long on that is understandable.

8/31 advance at least a round though.
