TV: Where would you rank The West Wing?

Its first 4 seasons are perhaps some of the best ever drama produced on network TV. "Two Cathedrals" might be one of the greatest episodes I've ever watched live.

But then you look at what came after on cable, and it's hard (and perhaps unfair) to judge it against the cable standard.

Still, it's a Top 15-ish show of all time for me personally.

I think it is probably my favorite network television drama ever. It was probably the last show on the networks that I tuned in religiously to watch.

Yeah, there have since been some cable/premium channel shows that top it (but not many).
