I'm looking for a reputable site to buy a customized Yotes Jersey. Besides Shop.NHL.com (can't say why), does anyone have a recommendation?

Anyone ever use customiceshop.com? They say name/numbers are sewn on. Some of the names available are Tikhonov, Hextall, and Sauer. Looks like they haven't updated the site this decade. :shakehead

Seconded. I've only gotten one jersey from them but the finish on it is immaculate - better than the jerseys you can get from the Arena or from the NHL store.

I've purchased about 10-12 of them over the years and I'm always amazed at how nice they are, you'd swear they were original and not replicas.

unfortunately the Ice Jerseys site only has home jerseys size S or XXL. They seemed to have every other team well stocked. Could be an indicator they know something?

or it could be they are waiting for their shipment of "AZ" jerseys vs the "PHX" jerseys some sites are still selling.

Icejerseys.com is still selling "PHX" jerseys only.

Don't care. We play at the Jobing.com Arena, kill Sanderson Ford penalties, score Arizona Powerball power play goals, Papa John's delivers pizza during breaks in play, we're constantly reminded that a Desert Schools Credit Union checking account is something we need and GEICO sponsors some of the instant replays. The shirt is a weird place to draw the line.

True, but I still rather not buy a jersey with a sponsor on it.

I wonder who would spend $4 million on sponsoring the Yotes jerseys.

The shirt is a weird place to draw the line.

The shirt is the brand of the team and the team alone. All of the things you listed are exactly why the jersey should be left the hell alone. We've got enough corporate crap shoved in our face constantly in name of the almighty dollar. Don't corrupt the brand of the team itself.

I went through a .gif thread on another forum last night, and saw a football jersey with the pacman gobbling up the division foes for the bengals on the back of his jersey where the name usually is. I'm all in for that. Pac man gobbling sharks/ducks/kings/starts - that's a jersey.

I appreciate the recommendations for icejerseys.com, as I would like to buy a quality product.

Unfortunately they only have old school ("PHX" on the shoulder) home jerseys, and no road or thirds and nothing with the "AZ" patch. I contacted them and received this reply: "Reebok does not have them available to Canadian retailers yet. We will have them as soon as they are made available." Approximate timeline unknown.

How long have we known about the name change? Why does Reebok hate Canada?

I would imagine it's more about selling out the PHX ones that are already made. It's probably a wise business decision since the jerseys are identical other than the patch and they may be redesigned next season.

If anyone wears a size 54, here is your chance to get an authentic jersey for only $65! Again this is for an authentic jersey, not a replica, these typically go for $250-300!!

Coyotes Authentic Jersey: $65

Doesn't mean you shouldn't draw that line.
Aren't there already little Reebok and CCM and Bauer and Nike and Koho (does anyone still wear Koho?) ads all over the players?

You say this like it's the patricians trying to squeeze every last dollar out of the proletariat. These are world-class entertainers (yes, even Klinkhammer) and you have to pay them. $1m from the Gila River casino company is $1m less that has to be collected from the fans, so everyone's ticket doesn't rise $2/game (or whatever).

Most fun I EVER had watching baseball was in South Korea, and Korean baseball is corporate as hell. My team (the LG Twins) battled it out with the Doosan Bears, Samsung Lions, SK Wyverns, Hanwha Eagles, Nexen Heroes, NC Dinos and Lotte Giants ... LG, Doosan, Samsung, SK, Hanwha, Nexen, NC and Lotte aren't cities, they're all companies that manufacture electronics, capital goods, electronics, electronics, financial services, energy, software and "a bunch of different stuff" respectively.

Bleacher tickets cost 7,500 won ($7 US). BYOB. BYO food. Food and sodas and beers for sale in the stadium were all comparable to gas station prices. 12 oz beers were 2,000 won ($1.80) and these amazing walnut snack things were $2.50. You can barely use the water fountains at the River for that cheap.

NHL hockey will never be THAT cheap (salaries are different), but give me a 50-year guarantee instead of a 5-year guarantee and I'll cheer for the Chase Bank Coyotes. All day.
