I think i will be positive and say that the playoffs are still a possibility if we win the next 30 games in a row.

58 points. I just want to see something noteworthy happen. Worst Oilers season ever would be something special to witness. On pace for 57 at the moment.

Well, let's narrow it down. First I'll remove the current top 10 teams in each conference.

Sunday January 26 NASHVILLE 6:00 pm
Tuesday February 3 Buffalo 5:00 pm
Saturday March 1 CALGARY 8:00 pm
Thursday March 6 N.Y. ISLANDERS 7:30 pm
Friday March 14 Detroit 5:30 pm
Sunday March 16 Carolina 1:00 pm
Tuesday March 18 NASHVILLE 7:30 pm
Thursday March 20 BUFFALO 7:30 pm
Saturday March 22 CALGARY 8:00 pm

9 games left. I'll say they can win 6 of these.Maybe pull off 2 or 3 against the other teams.

Let's say 8 wins and... 4 overtime losses. giving us a final record of:

23-50-9

Good for 55 points.

**** this team.

I agree, bang on.

I predicted the a Oilers would be 27th overall ahead of Buffalo, Calgary, and Florida at the beginning of the year.

Now, no higher than 28th, with 30th looking large in the rear view mirror.

I'm also agreeing with tangerine with 8 wins. 55 pts definitely puts us in last place and would mean firing top management if we were any other pro sports team out there.

It would be the funniest thing if the Buffalo Sabres still finished below the Oilers.

No you have it completely backwards, the funniest/saddest thing would be if the Oilers finishing below the Sabres. One of those teams should be good by now, the other is in the tare down and start over stage.

6 Rings will then proceed to pull out the nudes of Katz and get a promotion instead.

They'll win more games than I'll watch the rest of the way, since I plan on watching 0.

Predicting that we finish dead last, lose the draft lottery and miss out on Ekblad who will be the 1st overall pick.

I see us finishing over FLA, CGY, and BUF just b/c we usually end up doing good towards the end of the season, games that dont matter anymore. Good for 27th, we end up drafting Bennet/Draistl

That would be some good karma for Lowe and company, even though the consolation prize would be Reinhart
