Seriously. I'm happy Varly's playing well and getting starts, but Bednar is seriously risking burning him out and/or blowing up his groin again. He needs a rest at some point.

He's played 8 games in 14 days. The first three of that stretch were 3 OT games in 4 days. He's faced 40+ saves three times in that span. The Chicago games are often pretty high shot totals too.

He needs to sit in Nashville for sure.

Plus maybe Grubauer plays amazing against Nashville. I'm assuming he's not ok with not playing, and not playing well. It might work out for the best.
