My wife and I watched the first episode when it came out. My interest was piqued, but when I finally started episode two tonight she said she didn’t want to watch it because it was ‘too depressing’.
Three very long episodes later, she was right. But she’ll be sorry she missed out on this series. Words have a hard time describing how badly society and the justice system f***ed over and failed these boys. Fantastic performances all around here.
Well done, Netflix. Some days I think it’s time to cut you loose, then I watch shows like this and figure you can stick around a little while longer.
