Kucherov will go down (and already is) the best player to ever wear the Lightning jersey. And nobody comes close to him.
We are insanely lucky to witness greatness every time he steps on the ice.

I'd rank

Kucherov

Vasy
St. Louis
Stammer
Hedman
Point
Lecavalier
Richards
Khabibulin
Boyle

That is very very very close to mine. I think Vinny belongs with the bulk of group 2 there with Point on his own. However, I think Point is gonna end up joining that 2nd echelon and potentially Vasy with Kucherov if we win another Cup on the back of another legendary goaltending performance

I do think Vinny is a bit ahead of Point at the moment by virtue of winning a Richard but otherwise agree with Bob's list.

I don't think Stamkos should be anywhere below spot 2.

More games, more points, more goals, more Cups than Vinny and Marty. Hedman a close 3rd. We're pretty spoiled to be watching 3 players who have in my opinion passed the old guard.

Not sure where goalies slot in but I'd give Bishop a nod alongside Vasi, Khabi. I think he belongs with the franchise greats. 2nd only to Vasi in games played and the highest save percentage, with a Cup appearance and some great runs until he inevitably got hurt.

I put the top three in their own category as I think they've been among the best at their position beyond the team.

Judging Point now is sort of hard because he's only 28 and still has a lot of prime years left. Same for Kuch but he's so good we already know he's the best in franchise history.

It was called to see Vinny, Brad and Marty amongst a few others.playing together,

But I gotta say seeing prime Stamkos, Hedman, Kucherov, Point, Vasilevskiy all at the same time, having the success they've had has been pretty special.

I dont think Hedman's impact on the 2020 cup win can be overstated.

Whatno Vinnie Prpspal? I know but he was a great player for the Bolts that got overlooked.

Prospal has the great misfortune of having played for the Lightning every season between 2001-'09 except for the most important season in that time frame. He doesn't compare with the rest of the guys mentioned in this thread regardless, but missing the 2004 Cup team means he's firmly in that "best guys who never won a Cup" discussion, or maybe in that "really good but not legends" discussion that guys like Freddy Modin belong in, but he can't exist in a thread like this, these are "most if not all these guys will get their numbers retired" players.
