is this guy still an NHL prospect?...does he have a chance at becoming a regular...and if so..what role?

I'd say he's an ahler for the rest of his career, maybe with a few cups of coffee...

I wouldn't dicount his chances at becoming a reasonably good player in the NHL - don't know what the problem is this year though.

Injured

Has been for most of the year, I don't know if he is back yet, but he had been out for a while. Some sort of a hand/wrist injury.

I thought I read somewhere that he had surgery (wrist) and that he was done for the season.
