Penguins are still in transition IMO. They have some old guys still playing out their overpriced contracts and young guys who need experience and to find their way.
Nothing wrong with having guys like Kunitz and Dupuis on the team but those are the type of players you sign as UFAs on 1-2 year deals for a cap-friendly contract because they're hungry one more shot at the Cup. Instead, they're part of the defacto core.
