He has games where he does a very sound job defensively, but he can also have rather poor showings defensively.

Horvat still has that reputation from his junior career.

He is and will be a great player in the NHL, but he's more of a hound who can drive the net and is relentless on the forecheck... definitely a good strength/size combo there.
