    sure hainsey was not gonna make it in montreal and was a 1st rd pick 4 or 5 yrs ago but another team felt it was worth a shot, my question to the board is who else is in a similar position that might be out there

    ???

    semenov was one and i would assume colaicovo in toronto is another

    i thought more would post but i guess i am asking a difficult question

    Right now Anaheim doesn't have anyone fitting that description.

    They already got rid of Smirnov (let him become a UFA and go back to Russia), and the future of Stan Chistov is on hold until after this season.

    Igor Pohanka (2nd rd pick of New Jersey, traded in the Sykora-Friesen deal) is the closest thing to a player on the outs because he has shown nothing in his 3 AHL seasons, but he has no trade value.
