If he's willing to take 6-something long term then they should get something done rather easily.

He's a top line center who produced all the way to the finals. Didn't get it done in that final series, but the dude is going to get paid. Given the above where I think his interest in staying here is sincere, I'd guess we get him for just over $7M per, which I'd be fine with.

I think low $7M is a great deal for this kid. Lock him up and watch him continue to develop under this staff.
