Yeah, I thought Curb's first couple seasons were some of the best TV of this era..
I should've mentioned Smallville also. Their first couple seasons were strong, around 2001/2002 etc.

Despite the horrendous final season, Game Of Thrones still occupies the top spot on my list

Entourage is #2

Then in no particular order: Breaking Bad, True Detective S1, Fargo S2, Mare Of Easttown, and Severance round out the list

Also, just about anything starring Ricky Gervais is among the best television I've seen - The Office, Extras, and After Life are all worthy of multiple viewings

I'm also a big fan of the US version of The Office, though the last 2 or 3 seasons are unwatchable

Random order too:

Live Action:

Game of Thrones S1-4 (I'm okay with 5-7 generally but there's a clear drop off after 4)
Veep (gotta be one of the most underappreciated comedies)
30 Rock
Breaking Bad (probably sacrilege but except for the last season)
The Wire
S1 Westworld
The Expanse
True Detective S1
Fleabag
Atlanta
Band of Brothers
Arrested Development pre-netlfix seasons
Always Sunny
Chernobyl

Animated

Avatar the Last Airbender
Archer S1-3
South Park
Futurama
The Simpsons pre Simpsons movie

There's plenty of highly regarded TV shows I still haven't seen. Considered a lot of shows that I think are very good but didn't include them.
