He's a #4. He'd be a bottom pair guy just based on his puck possession and ability to drive play but he's still a solid offensive contributor which moves him up a bit. He'll be a 5/6 within a couple years though.
He has moments where he plays like a 1/2, but unfortunately those are few and far between. Most of the time he's a 3/4. Watching him play a game, he can make you say "WOW!" one shift and then "WTF?" on his very next shift.
