I see it more like
Patches Chuckie scherbak
Sekac Eller mccarron
Bournival JDLR Gallagher

McCarron is already surprising everyone in juniors, what a difference a year makes...

I thought JDLR is playing wing, he could learn a ton from turtleneck.

It's stupid to do these cause they never work out but at the same time its fun. I'll bite.

Patches-Chucky-Scherbak
Lehkonen-Plekanec-Mccarron
De La rose - Eller - Sekac
Fourth line is guys like crisp/Nevins/faceoff specialist

I wouldn't be surprised if he would fill in on the first line in his prime but mostly the perfect 2nd liner player.

I'm not going to pretend to know as I have not seen enough of him but he sure looks like a guy that would be more than comfortable on a second line and possible a first in the right situation.

His ceiling is as high as his mind will take it.

Physically he's a specimen. He has a complete skill set and is up there with anyone else in the league. If he gains confidence and is cultivated properly he can be a top line winger and a very useful player in the league.

Given he already seems to have some mental fortitude and is highly regarded is say he should have a higher chance of being a top 6 winger than not.

I see Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Scherbak as the future first line,.. Sekac on the 2nd line with either Plekanec or Eller, I'd keep Pleky around for a long time still even if it means 3C duties, great mentor. Essentially Galchenyuk-Eller-Plekanec as our top 3 C's. Any of Pacioretty-Sekac-Scherbak-McCarron-Gallagher-Hudon-Andrighetto-Bournival-JDLR-Thomas can be top 6/9 scoring wingers.

Maybe in 2/3 years:

Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Scherbak (scoring)
Sekac-Eller-Gallagher (Scoring)
JDLR-Plekanec-McCarron (Shutdown)

Some variation of that.
lol I love these lineups filled with prospects that will never happen.

Absolutely agree, he seems to more comfortable each game, and seems to make something happen almost every shift...

Want to see him against top D and top defensive lines before I consider him a top line player. Also want to see how he deals with a slump.

Haven't we been here before?

This guy has 1st line winger in him....under 20 goals this year for a lack of opportunities,,,he's big, fast, strong on the puck, incredible hockey sense, off the charts stamina and a pretty decent shot

I think he'll have Richard Zednik like numbers, 40-50 points a year and can play on any of the top 3 lines and won't hurt you.
