what can we reasonably expect for the rest of the season?

Have a good feeling Kadri will pick it up even more and produce like last year now that Bolland is back. His bad months were when Bozak and Bolland were injured. He picked up his play for the most part when Bozak came back but I think he will be even better when Bolland comes back as well.

And kadri already is. Playing great the last month

Agreed, he has looked really good. Which is sort of my point; when the heat is on, he finds that extra gear, and as long as it isnt on the top line where he is expected to be a difference maker, he will likely do the same once Bolland is back. He seems to enjoy internal competition...

Playoffs. We need to get to that stage where post season hockey is natural to us even if we are not challengers.

Exactly. A winning culture with the expectation of being able to push any team to the limit is what they should be gunning for. Well said.

10 more days till the season resuming.

Hopefully Bolland is nearing return.

Phaneuf and Gleason were banged up so perhaps the break will do us good.

They should be hitting the ice soon for their mini training camp. Hopefully we get a good update on Bolland.

No updates on McClement either since the game against Vancouver.

Clarkson has 2 points in 3 games since returning, has another 2 weeks to heal his elbow.

Dion, Gleason, and Mcclement were banged up. Timing is good.

Bolland was practicing with the London Knights. He should be very close, the best hope is he can be cleared for contact on February 19 mini camp. This will mark 3 months and almost 3 weeks since his injury. Won't be 100% but if he's close, he could be back on the 27th.

Bozak had a nagging oblique injury that has dropped his FO % down to 48% this year from his traditional 53.5% career average. Rest is good for him too.

Sheltering is good for guys like Kadri. The more he can see ice against weaker defenders, the more he'll make an impact. He suffered from having to match up against the league's best while Bozak and Bolland were both out.
