What are your top ten 60s & 70s albums excluding The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Bob Dylan, Marvin Gaye, The Rolling Stones, VU, Jimi Hendrix, Bruce Springsteen, and Van Morrison. I can't wait to read and listen to your replies.

I wasn't aware of this album, and it's effectively very cool. Thx!The Crazy World of Arthur Brown - The Crazy World of Arthur Brown
I'd say anything from Poco, Humble Pie-"Smokin", Mott the Hoople-" Live". Gotta have a Zepplin in there, early Graham Parker, Curtis Mayfield- "Superfly" Skynyrd- "Street Survivros", early Dire Straits( 1st or 2nd release) any of the Fleetwood Mac (white album, rumors, or tusk). Tough to pick a 10th. Depends on my mood. For now I'll say Doors- "Absolutely Live"Anything by CCR, Simon and Garfunkel, or Janis Joplin.

The list of bands to avoid seems random, but I guess it's stuff you're already familiar with. I tried to stay away from everything Beatles related, I hope that Yoko is acceptable
I love a lot of stuff from The Kinks, but I always feel the albums are kind of weak. Kept one, but it's mostly as a nod to their whole work.

Especially effective when you stand on the table in your Alice Cooper makeup, your white robe on, a viking helmet on your head, gas can in hand and you screaming FIRE while skaking it down like Mick Jagger on a double dose of speedTo say it is an acquired taste is being generous, it is probably a good option if you are trying to clear folks out at the end of a party
