Godfather III was crap, but still ekes out Batman that also had a poor 3rd offering.

Austin Powers definitely my favorite Comedy movie series.

As down hill as #2 and #3 went in the series I really love The Matrix trilogy. I was obsessed with these movies when I was younger, especially the 1st one.

Dead trilogy (Night, Dawn and Day)

I don't acknowledge the films that came after as part of dead series. Romero tail end of career was awful.

Dark Knight Rises was real close to being the best in that Nolan trilogy if they tied up some or the logical inconsistencies. Broadly speaking it had the best narrative IMO which is saying something considering how excellent Begins and Dark Knight were.

LOTR is near flawless IMHO (haven’t read the books)

Godfather 1 and 2 are so spectacular I don’t need to care about 3 very much, which itself wasn’t a terrible movie. Just not in the same league as 1 & 2
