First of all, not everyone rushes to start a thread every time they have a thought. Further, it seems like a lot of fan bases within the Central aren't so quick to post threads pumping their own guys' tires on the main boards. You don't see a lot of Nashville, St Louis, Dallas, or Minnesota fans rushing to the main boards to tell the world about their guy having a great game or quarter season or whatever. One shouldn't rely on the amount of threads about a topic on these boards to keep them informed on the important storylines within the NHL.

Comparing Schwartz to Lehtera actually makes complete sense with context.

That context is that it's a Mulletman thread which means the analysis is nonexistent and the conclusion is most likely not just wrong, but the complete opposite.

Another 2 goals for Schwartz and the game isnt over yet. Hes legit.

Did Lehterrible ever score 2 in a game even?

The PP was one thing that made me think they will have a substantial drop-off. For whatever reason, they just can't get it done with the advantage.

The only Blues game I've been able to watch all season was the game last night, so I won't put too much stock in the eye test. They looked dangerous most of the time, but they have clearly had many games in which they played much better (and, again, they looked fine last night but couldn't get it done). That's why I go with the two points you made about why their production is likely to begin slowing down: shot percentage probably will begin to fall at some point, and the PP having such a rough time.

It is ironic that tonight they finally clicked on the PP. Would be nice if they could find a little more consistency on the man advantage.

You just really can’t help yourself can you? We get it, you don’t like the Blues. All your preseason prognostications about them being an old, overrated team were wrong then and they look more ridiculous now. Enjoy the Canucks not making the postseason.

Jaden Schwartz, much like Petro, has always been a terrific player. It’s just now they’re putting up big offensive numbers more people are taking notice.

Loved both Schwartz and Schenn from their world junior days, Schwartz especially. Nice to see them torching the league

Third, it likely is unsustainable. They have had a great opening, but it would take the biggest Blues homers in the world (or, more likely, the biggest Schwartz and Schenn homers in the world, so their own family) to expect them to maintain this kind of pace. They could, sure, but it's very unlikely.
It is no more unlikely than anything else about the future of hockey, which has reached unsustainable popularity in itself, per se.

Always liked Jaden Schwartz, happy to see him putting it all together. Never been much of a Schenn fan but good for him.
