I will assume a 48 game schedule so I’ll go

10G 30A. People will say this is high but I expect him on PP1 from game 1. Star in the making.

I expect an EK65 type growth curve with Tim The Franchise Stutzle. Next season is for him to learn and polish his North American game. He will be one of the team's top forwards by 2022 towards being an impact player in the league.

I guess it depends how many games are played. A 60-game schedule: 12-17g, 32-40a with about 35% of his production coming on the PP.

If Stutzle ends up in any sort of dog house the coach should be shown the door.
I’m gonna say he scores 15 goals 35 assists for a rookie season . If he gets extended power play time and becomes a go to player for offence then there is potential to have a Calder worthy season of 20g40a

Hoping for him to have a franchise forward impact. If he's our cornerstone forward prospect, I sure as heck hope he's nothing like Kotkaniemi's first season and more like someone like Petersson

He’ll match rookie Brady Tkachuk’s production:

21G - 23A- 44P

Coming over from Europe, compressed schedule, and a weak lineup overall...have to keep expectations realistic.

Assuming an 82 game season and he plays most of them, I'd hope for 30 points.

But the big thing will be icetime. We can't give him 4th line minutes and expect development. I also wouldn't put him on the first line against strong teams.

Edit to add: this year won't be about points. It's adapting and learning the NHL game, and seeing consistent improvement in his game in the latter half of the season. That's what we want to look for.

Likely a 40 point pace, in the 12-28 range in terms goals: assists. He is definitely a pass first guy, who will be especially deferential to linemates in his first season. Would be extremely pleased with a 0.5 pace.

Overall, we can expect a top-six forward. How good of a top-six forward is a complete guess. Here are Stutzle's DY production comparables (NHLe in the 30 range):

M. Granlund39Liiga
W. Nylander37ALS
K. Fiala36SHL
T. Stutzle35DEL
T. Hertl35CZR
K. Kakko35Liiga
A. Wennberg33ALS
D. Pastrnak32ALS
P. Laine30Liiga
A. Holtz30SHL
[TBODY] [/TBODY]

You can see that basically all these players are or will be top-six players, but they still vary in overall impact. We might get a William Nylander level player. We might get a David Pastrnak level player.

Is Stutzle really a goal sxoree though? 20+ goals for his rookie season seems a bit lofty for me. Then again if Patrick Kane is his comparable...

My guess is 1st unit PP time and a regular shift with the better offensive weapons.

Somebody has to score some goals; he might be our best
