Packers @ Cardinals (Thursday) --> upset pick
Panthers @ Falcons --> Can I pick neither?
Dolphins @ Bills --> Dolphins don't have a prayer.
49ers @ Bears --> Barf game is barf.
Steelers @ Browns --> Nothing would surprise me about this one but I'm going Stillers. Don't know why.
Eagles @ Lions --> I will die on this the-Lions-are-not-the-worst-team-in-football-and-they-are-bound-to-win-at-some-point hill.
Titans @ Colts --> Colts are playing better, but unfortunately for them the Titans ARE better. Not even remotely out of the question for the Colts to take this one though.
Bengals @ Jets --> I don't like picking my team to win. I prefer the approach of betting against them; the logic goes that either my team wins or I get a game right, so there's something positive no matter what. However, the Jets are quite simply a catastrophe. They haven't scored a single point in the 1st quarter all year, There's no team chemistry, the offense and the defense are butting heads, the coaching staff are over their heads with the combined emotion levels of a zombie, they already got their young QB hurt due to a horrible OL and bad scheme so they're either starting Mike White or the corpse of Joe Flacco who won't know the playbook yet...the list goes on and on. Their DL could give the Bengals mediocre-at-best OL some problems but 1) the Patriots dominated the Jets at the LOS on Sunday; and 2) the Bengals have been surprisingly effective defensively this year. I think this game will be closer than the spread because I'm a Bengals fan and I'm terrified of happiness. However, when I look at this situation objectively almost everything favors the Bengals here. I'd be furious, and completely unsurprised, if the Bengals have a letdown here after such an emotional win, but conference record is a tiebreaker so we absolutely need this game. They better f***ing play like it.
Rams @ Texans --> Davis Mills, meet Aaron Donald. He eats people. The Rams will also eat your defense. This will be painful for Houston.
Patriots @ Chargers --> I wouldn't be surprised to see the Pats win this but I do think their offense is a bit limited when compared to should-be-San-Diego.
Jaguars @ Seahawks --> Seattle is in deep shit and I think the Jaguars are capable of taking advantage. Calling my shot here: Trevor Lawrence's breakout game.
Washington Football Team @ Broncos --> Another barf game is barf. Broncos pissed me off royally last week so I hope WFT wins.
Buccaneers @ Saints --> Weird game. Tampa is better but NO could win. Not betting on it though.
Cowboys @ Vikings --> The Vikings will have to play borderline perfect here to win in my opinion. Dallas is explosive and can take advantage of even small mistakes.
Giants @ Chiefs (Monday) --> If the Chiefs find a way to lose this one they are in deep shit. I very much doubt it happens.
