When I say they should go for it at 4th and 3 from the 30, I only consider the likelihood of them converting that play and getting an easier 3 or even 7 points compared to the likelihood of making the FG and getting 3 points, as well as the fact they’d likely give away better field position by missing the FG. Should take into account that those 7 points could just as well be 6 at this point, lol.

He's reliably inconsistent.

I mean, to change kickers in-season changes a lot of stuff on the special teams unit like kick coverage, etc. And it's unlikely that you find a free agent kicker who is that much better to be worth the trouble of changing out kickers.
