I never understood why USC was clinging to Helton. In the age of rash coaching change decisions, the lack of one there is almost bewildering. Now that UCLA looks to be on the upswing with Kelly, USC is at at risk of fading into complete irrelevance.

Ball State plus 22.5 over Penn State
Washington plus 7 over Michigan
Iowa State minus 4 over Iowa

Super conferences now. Need a minimum of 12 teams to have an official conference championship game per. But for tradition they kept those names. Pac10 made the switch but when you have 2 conferences that use BIGxx that gets tricky.

both should have followed SEC and ACC and not have numbers after the conference name. But one of the BIG would have needed to change.

He's a great recruiter and terrible game coach. They've had their chances, if tOSU takes an actual step back, I would worry if they had good coaching.
