I mean, they're humans making the decision in split second real time when it really comes down to it. Kind of an antiquated system. Should have been challenged.

I think they were smart not to challenge. The league would have leaned on it being inconclusive to support the bad call on the field.

When the opponent attempts a FG, the Pats put the sky cam view on the jumbotron to screw with the kicker. When the Pats kick a FG, the Jumbotron is one solid color.

It really wasn't questionable. Nor was the punt being downed at 1 foot line, then spotted on 1. Then Sony gains 6 inches on first down. Ball spotted at 2.

It happens throughout games, but no one really cares that 2nd an 6 should really be 2nd and 5. There’s a lot of guesswork being done in spotting the ball when a ref picks up the ball and jogs it to a hash mark.
