Payton needs to go but I don't think the Saints personnel is on that level anymore either.

Bad playcalling kills this team every single week. They don't make adjustments, they are disjointed, they commit penalties, etc. those are signs of a badly coached team. the personnel isn't what it used to be, but it's not bad. Certainly not bad enough to look like this on a regular basis.

Brees is still hobbling around but the Saints are doing stuff here.

A lot of bad free agent deals haven't helped. There aren't many that are ever good.

Saints will eventually take the lead and blow it late.

Lions obviously.

They've been doing it for like 50 years longer. The Saints got blown out a lot while the Lions just blew it.

Don't rush to the line to get another play off before the 2 minute warning or anything.

and they miss the FG, should have took the snap and ran backwards for 14 seconds and took a knee. Not like it's gonna matter anyway but you never know

I love how Tirico didn't even sound shock they missed the field goal.

Typical Lions needing to make things interesting.

Saints don't hurt their draft position so not all bad for them tonight. Probably a good thing in the long run. That team might look very different next season.
