We have great Thursday night game matchup! Bengals go to Baltimore. I wouldn't call this a must win for the Bengals but if they lose they need to go at least 5-2 with a schedule that is very difficult. Higgins is out.

Also it’s an afc matchup. Tie breakers likely to settle the final WC PO spot.

The 3 previous posters said what I was gonna say about the Bengals. The Ravens are a half full half empty 7-3 team.

Full: They're top 5 all time in time leading the game after 10 games.

Empty: The other 4 teams went 10-0. The Ravens have had three games where they led after three quarters, blown their lead in the fourth quarter, and lost the game.

If the Bengals lose this game, they don't make the playoffs. At that point, they will be 5-5, 1-5 in the AFC and 0-3 in the division. And still have to play:

Steelers x2
Jaguars
Chiefs
Colts
Vikings
Browns

10-7 likely gets you into the PO, but not a lock since there is likely to be tie-breakers involved. To have that poor an AFC record is going to hurt. First tie breaker is H2H if you are only tied with 1 club. If more than 1 tied with, it's common oponent.s

Physical teams do damage to the opposition, but seems like that wears on them too. Ravens, Niners seemingly have a lot of guys go down and they both play on grass fields.

Ravens and 49ers have had the worse injury luck over the last few years more than anyone that I can remember. It's crazy.
