Capitals are such a crap team. Any team should just play ultra conservative box out D and take every safe play, just wait for them to blow defensive assignments and turn the puck over.

In retrospect I think I kinda prefer them to sh** the bed in the 2nd and beast it in the 3rd....considering they seem to like to pick a period to coast...can't complain with 2 pts though. Hate that our D always seems to find a way to damage Mase's GAA though unless he plays like Parent circa 75

Not really, it's not like they did anything at even strength, every time they had pressure or scored it was because they were on the PP where they're supposed to dominate. Downie and Streit both took dumb penalties at bad times. Downie especially is pissing me off since he takes a horrible penalty every single game. The empty netter isn't enough for me to not want him scratched.
