Weber, but (and I can't speak for everyone) I wasn't upset because we were getting the worse player, I was upset because it showed the GM was completely delusional about the state and direction of the team. Rather than acquiring assets which could grow and become the next core of the team, he acquired a player who would likely play out his final years here on the decline on a team in a state of perpetual mediocrity.

Weber's clearly better but I can't ignore that contract. 6 more seasons after this one when he's 34 years old now is an absolute nightmare. Subban having 2 more years after this one at 30 is way more manageable.
