Thank goodness there's still the home-and-home with Edmonton - it's a cheap way to take my kids to a Jets game here in Edmonton.

Why do the Jets always play 4 home games and 3 away in pre-season? NJ will be a good game. I guess the other teams don't need the tune-up or the gate revenue.

For the Jets they need 4 home pre-season games because of the half-season ticket holders. They each are forced to take two games each year.

That's a dubious reason. They could exclude pre-season from ST packages and rely on walk-up sales, or is the price too high for a shitty game?
