For all the calm Tocchet has shown, his coaching tendencies are aimed at not losing, instead of pushing for the win.

The Oilers know the Canucks' now. You either risk to attack or tighten up... Tocchet and the team have chosen poorly.
Worked well for LA.

at this point, even if we somehow win, it would be ugly against Dallas.

Hughes is clearly injured, Miller clearly worn down. Petey not in top form, Demko injured.

Dallas is like praying Vancouver wins, will be one of the most lopsided WCF in history.

Nobody on this team wants to take a hit to make a play. Just give up the puck immediately

Playing soft like they don’t want it as much as the Oilers do

Sad to witness

There was one broken play where the puck came to Miller’s stick with his back turned to Skinner—he paused to find a pass. I would’ve loved for him to just backhand that puck towards the net.

Game 1 it was all about testing Skinner with those weird pucks. The perfect play isn’t needed. The dribbler is needed.

Wake the f*** up. It’s game 7 of the second round, not game 7 of the preseason. They have a sieve in net in the form of Skinner, need more SHOTS!

Worked all year oilers need to score they are expected to win longer canucks keep it close better chances are this team is a 2nd and 3rd period team lets see that now

It didn't 'work' as they weren't a better team in the back half as they were in the first half.

If they keep going this way, they will lose.

Doesn’t matter. Win this one and everything resets. Just get to the next round.

Let’s see if the boys want to keep playing into June or are they happy with themselves getting this far.

I need to know what injuries Hughes has. He dominated from game 1 to 82, now against the poor EDM D, he's a ghost of himself. That is the biggest shock. The only reason is a severe injury.

It is not like the Oilers are that great either. Proven by the fact they could still lose to the Canucks here.
