Just got the notification about Boeser. Brutal. Just gut wrenching. Being down a top 6 winger is the death of any chance against Dallas if they advanve.

This franchise never catches a break. Someone always goes down at pivotal moments.

If Boeser developed a DVT due to trauma he’s done for the year. He’ll need to be on anticoagulation for at least 3 months and won’t be able to participate in any hockey. But again don’t know the extent so can’t say for sure. Hope he’s okay. Canuck luck strikes again. Cheering for this team is so difficult.
Can he do any physical training or he can’t do anything while on meds?

The odds just keep stacking up against these Canucks.....first Demko goes down and hasn't played since. Now their leading playoff scorer is gone for what appears to be an indefinite period.

Well that solves the issue of whether Hoglander sits or not. It's too bad that player health is such a huge issue in the Stanley Cup playoffs. But survival is as much about avoiding serious injuries as it is what happens on the ice sometimes.

Feel bad for Brock
Oh it's horrible news for Brock and the team who are obviously close to the guy.

Just saying the franchise is cursed. He looked completely rejuvenated and had an awesome post-season campaign then bam...blood clots.

And this is why pissing away a golden opportunity like we had last night is so frustrating. Oh well, no use crying about it now. At least this solves the lineup discussion.

Suter - Miller - Pettersson
Joshua - Lindholm - Garland
Hoglander - Blueger - Mikheyev/Lafferty
PDG - Aman - Pod

I'd strongly consider moving PDG up to Miller's line and Suter down to the third but that could be a game decision depending how they're playing.

One thing is for certain, if someone isn't going then Tocchet needs to be ready to rotate or even double shift those who are. That includes Pettersson. Bench him if it comes to that and double shift Garland if he's having a game.

Hopefully, this is the game Pettersson takes Boeser's mantle.

And thats why you trade for depth wingers, errr, nevermind. Good luck Brock, he’s been battling injury for weeks and playing amazing.
