I don't think it's adjustment so much as winning battles and supporting lower to break out.

Our break out has been abysmal this playoffs it along with the PP have been the real weaknesses.

Regroup for game 7, they will have a better showing at home ice, expected Oilers to be desperate, this was a legacy defining game for them.

In this case it is all adjustments. We were even in the first and looked at times like we were very aggressive.

Oilers went to sell out forecheck and they scored three straight goals since then. We haven't been able to break out so we have no ozone time. That means we're not making a mcdrai work. We needed to adjust to their adjustment and we didn't. Not too surprising because we didn't adjust against Nashville either.

Tocchet's biggest weakness at work here. He just doesn't like making on the fly adjustments and relies completely on his one decision working.

Canucks have turtled all series to protect Silovs. Surprised many can't see it. It was a sound strategy given they're going to Game 7 but makes for very low shots and ugly hockey.

Oilers star players continuing to produce has been the difference. Canucks have seen too many players fail to consistently put up points. Hughes has been a complete no show.

Hughes was garbage tonight. Playing extremely soft. Starts with the guy who has the C on his chest. Bailing out on dump ins and throwing pucks up the boards for turnovers is just a pathetic style of hockey to play, injured or not.

Who do you think tells them to support lower? We haven't done that in two playoff series and it would have helped us a lot against Nashville. It would have helped here too.
