probably for TV purposes. the eastern game will probably start at 7 - 7:30. putting the western game at 10 - 10:30 prevents an overlap (barring OT of course).

So, ESPN had Buccigross and Hextall going.. Bucci was whispering, and ahead of the play calling everything before you'd see it happen, I really hate their coverage. TNT has been better, but it was a fitting broadcast for whatever I just watched.

Came out exactly like I expected it: Sutter's system of just peppering the goal with as many shots as possible is death for the Smith/Koskinen duo who are guaranteed to let a sizeable percentage through. The Oilers can win a game, but it will take more than 6 goals -- more like 10.
