A textbook two periods, but that third period....just yikes. Canucks came within two shots of matching the playoff futility record which is 10 by the Devils back in the dead puck era. But 12 shots isn't much better.

Was the flu going through the team? Might be one of the worst games I've seen from Hughes this season. But I guess they don't ask you how you won, but how many you win in the playoffs.

Was obviously nervous, but they hung on. The Canucks deserved game 2, the Preds deserved game 3 on the play. these thing even out.

The Best:

-Brock Boeser (best game so far, if he plays like this every game hes a keeper for a long long time. Brock Boeser, thanks to @Ace of Hades for noting)

The Good:

-DeSmith (got lucky at times, but has great positioning, and quick reflexes, love the guy)
-Zadorov (beasting those Preds, keep it up, loving this trade now)
-Myers (good to have him back, playing his best hockey as a Canuck)
-Hughes (quiet for his standards but did play a good defensive game)
-Cole (with Soucy back his minutes go down and hes very effective)
-Soucy (getting back to normal after some rough games after coming back from injury)
-Miller (generally good, needs to simplify his game and i think he could be a top 5 fwd)
-Garland (so many underrated defensive plays, gets under their skin, love this guy)
-PDG (great PKer, good defensively, black hole offensively ie a 4th liner lol)

The OK:

-Hoglanders game starting to get better, keep it up, get under their skin
-Lindholm (imo up and down, made some big mistakes in the 3rd but before that played great)
-Hronek (up and down as well, hopefully learns from his 3rd period error that cost the shutout)

The Bad:

-Nashville. f*** you
