I think it’s funny that as a Canucks fan, you don’t even bother mentioning your own team who the Oilers are likely to face next.

Stop worrying about the Oilers and worry about what your own team is doing.

hilarious he totally skipped over his team rofl

There is no way anyone is gonna beat Edmonton if officials are gonna call penalties like this

I understand Oilers fans are excited, but this is literally a one trip pony once again.

it’s the same shit every single year

Legitimately curious without talking shit here, Oilers fans, what makes you think you have any chance against Colorado or Dallas if you’re just gonna be a PP only team?

Legitimately curious

Are you referring to the Oilers being good at scoring PP goals ?

Happy to be up 4-2 but that was an awful bounce from Rittich.lol

Oilers are looking great. PP is dialed in. Oh wait, using a PP to win is illegal on HF.

Obviously judge each game on a case by case basis. But kings aren't exactly known for taking lots of penalties compared to the rest of the league.. they were 20th in penalties taken coming into the POs.

Oilers have been ahead of them in penalties taken the last 2 years.
Because the Oilers skate. eep their moving through checks.

What the discrepancy in calls and penalty criteria will end up with is that the team feeling aggrieved, will take serious liberties when they feel like if they're going to get a call anyway, may as well take a chunk of the other player.

And that will just end up in injuries.

All the NHL achieves with this type of officiating is that it puts players at risk of other players taking matters into their own hands.

Two things that were obvious coming in:

Gary Bettman's shitty playoff format is seriously flawed
The Kings weren't winning shit with their AHL quality goalie tandem

Yeah, I always felt Barrie was a nice piece but a smaller part. Then Bouch replaced him and immediately felt like he was more of a driver than passenger. And he gets his third point as I type this.lol
Bouchard moves the puck well, has a good hockey IQ, has a heavy shot and can get the puck on net. Barrie not so much
