2022 against the Flames was more convincing imo. Flames had no hope at all.
That series was a back and fourth score fest and probably should have went to game 6 if Coleman didn’t decide to kick in a puck that was going in anyways.

Agreed. LA is the 2nd worst team in the playoffs. Just a complete lack of talent on that team. The Islanders would beat them.
Caps were the worst, Preds are bad, Canucks have been bad, NYI were bad, Jets were horrid...all arguably worse than LA.

For once, reffing was on the Oilers side all series. Nonetheless, the Kings couldn't match the Oilers in talent

Oilers didn't take stupid penalties all series like they did in years past, lots of maturity this series

Oilers have an easy road to CF's, playing either Demko less Canucks (they'll kill Silovs and DeSmith with their deadly power play, or the toothless Predators.

Congrats Oilers on the 1st round win. This ones for you...

Its good you guys underestimate your opponents, especially Canucks. I dont mind that at all. I just hope your team is doing the same.

McDavid and Draisaitl are already absolute animals and they really step up their game in the playoffs.

11 assists and 12 points in 5 games in this series for McDavid and 65 points in his past 33 playoff games. Drai has 18 goals in his past 17 playoff games and 60 points in his past 33 games.

Really glad to see them dispatch the Kings in no more than 5.

A double deflection that he didn't see and a lucky bounce off the stanchion. He's been fine.
LA did almost nothing offensively the whole series. Credit to the Oilers defensive play. Skinner was solid but most teams are going to get more quality scoring chances then LA, so we will see how it goes.

Guys who win their division are never underdogs
Canucks are and they have been all season and even before the season started. Heck they are underdogs because of being in playoffs for the first time in many years. Inexperienced team with no starting goalie. If we lose, there is a built in excuse. If Oilers lose, there is no excuse.
