The NHL has a cultural problem with their referees, who refuse to call a large percentage of interference penalties during the playoffs. It was no different last year, when the Blues set the record for the longest NHL game without a penalty called despite committing a blatant interference penalty on Zuccarello, who was about to bury what should have been the GWG in Game 7.
