Love to see a Blues win, but as a fan who has endured heartbreak since '67, it would be very Bluesy of them to come out and get absolutely waffle stomped 6-1.

It would also be very Minnesota-y to win the next two or three games only to lose in OT in game 6 or 7.

Blues fans and Wild fans discuss this series like the Stoppable Force vs the Moveable Object.

Yes, but it would also be very Minnesota-y (or maybe even just Wild-y) to come out and win 5-1, 6-2, or something like that tonight and make everyone wonder where all the goals were before...only to lose 2-1 again on Saturday.

That is also correct.

I've been saying since the end of game 2, Wild lose game 3, win tonight, just to let the fans down at home on Saturday.

This series has brought out looooong-standing Minnesota sports fan cynicism.

we have the funeral march route all planned and ready to go?

but yeah...we need a couple wins first to make this series loss a real nut crusher.

I'm good luck lately too. The only two games I went to in round 3 last year were both wins (one in San Jose) and I was at the game Sunday...

50/50 game.

Have no clue how this ends. Both teams evenly matched. Blues have been luckier and Allen gas stood on his head.
