Karlsson has a very strong pass first, maybe even pass second, shoot third instinct. It's probably best to hope for him to be a facilitator than a finisher you want to rely on.

He's had some nasty SOG that didn't go through. If he keeps up his defensive game and keeps pressure tha on their goalie that he has, it helps the team effort even when he doesn't score goals.

He's had some nasty SOG that didn't go through. If he keeps up his defensive game and keeps pressure tha on their goalie that he has, it helps the team effort even when he doesn't score goals.

Yeah, he definitely never looks like a problem out there even when he isn't putting up points. I just think we should try to play to his strengths. Maybe put Marchessault with Karlsson and Stone because he doesn't hesitate to shoot ever, possibly get Karlsson a greasy rebound goal.
