ok...let' see here, i didn't make a gameday thread the past 2 Canada game and we are 0-1-1... i'm pretty superstitious so i'm making the game thread this time around

should be an interesting, by the sounds of it ukraine gave the US all it could handle defensively and a the ukrainian goalie stood on his head, could fatigue be a factor today? i guess we'll see.

Canada needs a strong start and a near perfect game to get something rolling for the next round, here's to hoping they come through or this could be team canada's second last game of this year's world championships.

i'll predict and 4-1 Canadian win.

Wish I could watch... stupid job.

Anyway, I think Canada will send a bit of a message today, much like they did when they spanked Belarus at the 02 Olympics. Everyone thought it might be close because Belarus were giant killers, but Canada really lit them up. This Canada team is nowhere near as good as that one was, but this game gives them the opportunity to step up and send the same kind of message.
