So most notably: Alexander Holtz!

Lukas Bengtsson and Patrik Nemeth also added.

Erik Karlsson not here so joining for WC I assume
Lol @ gifting Olofsson a roster spot but not Holtz

Also why the f… was Strömwall cut?

I think you have a distorted view of what kind of a player Johansson is at this point. He’ll probably end up in the bottom six here.

Cutting Strömvall makes zero sense. Not sure what Hallam sees in Berglund, Ehn and Vejdemo.

Im unsure if Lundström is better than Lindberg etc. Exotic player anyways.

Nice with so many Nhlers in Czech hockey games.

Cool that Fus and Lekkermäki gets another chance. Well deserved.

Strömwall played himself off the roster in the last 2 games.

I only saw the first game and thought he was very good. But seems like he shit the bed in the others

Unless he's carrying injuries I think Hedman will join up the minute Tampa is out. Erik Karlsson will be on the phone to him.
I think so too. This would be the second year in a row without a long post-season, he seems healthy to me, Sweden has strong team and his buddies are there.

That would of course give us a ridicously stacke defence core and the issue would be distrubuting ice time. Dahlin, Karlsson and Hedman would all need a lot of ice time, how do you distribute?

I guess we will run 2Ds on the power play, because our D core is so much stronger than the forwards

Only awaiting answer from Carlsson now then from the players finished before playoffs. But Anaheim has been out for a long time, so if there was no problem he would probably accept/decline some weeks ago? Wasnt he injured quite a bit this season?

Raymond too. Maybe he fixes his contract in time.

All round one matchup should be finished by next Sunday, one week before the tournament starts. Hallam has to get some quick decisions from the eliminated players. We face the US in the first game, so starting with 3 lines and 5 Ds or something is not an option. We must have at least 12F and 6D dressing for the game.

A mix of optimistic and realistic lineup. Adding Hedman, Forsberg, Kempe and Holmberg after round 1

Filip Gustavsson
Samuel Ersson
Jesper Wallstedt

Jonas Brodin - Rasmus Dahlin
Veteran defensive D together with an offensive D starting to enter is prime, sick

Victor Hedman - Erik Karlsson
To elite veteran D who has played together in the national team since junior level

Marcus Pettersson - Patrik Nemeth
Shutdown pairing

Lukas Bengtsson, Tim Heed
Spare parts, filling in case of injury

Marcus Johansson - Joel Eriksson-Ek - Adrian Kempe
Johansson and JEE together because they are team mates. Kempe the elite sniper

Filip Forberg - Pontus Holmberg - Alexander Holtz
Holmberg dishing the puch to either of the snipers on his sides

Victor Olofsson - Isac Lundeström - André Burakovsky
Burra playmayker, Olofsson finisher. Lundeström cleans up their defensive mistakes

Marcus Sörensen - Oscar Lindberg - Fabian Zetterlund
Some speed and skill Sörensen and Zetterlund. All players good in both directions

Max Friberg, Linus Johansson
Popcorn eating contest!

I would easily take Nyqvist/Järnkrok/Grundström/Arvidsson ahead of Olofsson.

I actually think Holmberg could be the best addition after round 1. Our biggest weakness is the center position, we need help there. Zibanejad and W. Karlsson looks like they will advance, so we can scratch them off. Elias Pettersson is not looking like himself, injured? Feels like a decline. That only leaves Holmberg. I guess Järnkrok can play center too, but the Leafs are using him as RW.

I'm assuming he is a decline at this point. He has struggled with injuries so that is probably the reason
