Interesting tidbit about him is that despite being ranked 29th among North American skaters in the 2014 draft he was not selected at all. He was ranked 162th in 2015 and 173rd in 2016 and went undrafted.

All the scouting reports talk about his hockey IQ and work ethic. He just scored a bucket load. He's not the biggest but he's not the smallest either (assuming what the net says is true). Is there some obvious on the ice reason he wasn't picked up that a quick google search hasn't found?
