What about Bode Wilde? Playing well with the USDP U-17. Has good size at 6'2 and still might grow. I've seen him in the top 10 in almost every mock draft. Any reason he's not in your first round mock?

Allan McShane deserves to be in the first round imo
Agreed. He was really looked over in the OHL priority selection. If he continues to develop like he has in his first OHL season, he should definitely be first round material.

At this point, I don't think Jake Wise should be in the top 10. Isn't a huge body (around 5'10 180) and isn't putting tons of points. Maybe I'm overlooking a skill that he might have but I don't believe he's top 10

This - looks like a top 5 talent

I could be wrong, but I don't think Jake Wise is rated that highly anymore. mid-late first or 2nd round is more likely

I think he's a first round talent it's just where in the first round. For me he's near the 20 range. He can obviously improve that ranking but will have to improve his overall play. Could be a faller in the draft but that's a while a way. Time will tell.

Filip Zadina is a glaring omission for me. Potential top 10 pick.
I also think Skarek, Roman and Lauko are 1st round talents as well, though they are certainly more debatable.

Appreciate the list. Just for fun I'll have a go, too, using your list and the major omissions. TBH I don't know much about 10 or so of the European guys on your list to place them accurately, but whatever.

1. Svechnikov
2. Dahlin
3. Veleno
4. Wilde
5. MacIsaac
6. Zadina
7. Merkley
8. Groulx
9. Tkachuk
10. Hughes
11. Khovanov
12. McBain
13. Woo
14. Smith
15. Levin
16. Denisenko
17. Lundstrom
18. E. Bouchard
19. Kravtsov
20. McShane
21. McLeod
22. Wise.
23. Addison
24. Farabee
25. Busby
26. Burzan
27. Thomas
28. Boqvist
29. MacDonald
30. Kurashev
31. X. Bouchard

HM: Eggenberger

List is definitely NA-biased.

Guys I could see easily rise significantly: Kurashev, Thomas, Wise, Lundstrom, and Denisenko

Guys I could see easily drop significantly: Levin and Wise again.

Wise at 22 spot?
Wahlstrom not in your first rd?
Veleno will drop around 12-16 spot maybe even later.
I think lundstrom goes 6-10

Finland
Jesperi Kotkaniemi highly touted Finnish prospect in 2018 draft.
Other interesting names Jesse Ylonen ( son of ex Finnish NHLer Juha Ylonen), Niklas Nordgren and Arttu Nevasaari.
