Keep in mind that players won't always sign with the highest bidder. Many factors go into a player's decision, including team status, term, and fit. You can send your offers to me whenever you want, but please include them all in one PM.

Question, when you say leading team(the offer shown) is that strictly in terms of highest salary or all things considered that is the team currently going to win that UFA over?

If its a team equally as competitive and they are offering more money he's going to that team.

It's purely most money. There's no guarantee that a player signs with the team that's listed as the leader.

So going from a 'contender' to a 'playoff team' for a little more money would be enough to sway one's decision? away from a team he has good chemistry with? Not to mention this player is older and getting that little extra bit of salary isnt going to be his #1 concern. His best chance at the cup would top everything.
