If we’re being serious Washington is probably even more embarrassed after their last outing than we are. A 4-1 loss to the Oilers is much worse than 9-1 to the Pens

Rittich got lit up last game, too. Peters didn't have the option to pick the goalie with a SV% above .800 last game, so might as well go back to the one with the better track record.

The only thing I hope to see is the team sticking to their game for the full 60. Win or lose.

Smith is gonna get lit. Really getting tired of his play this year, it seems the goodwill he had last year is evaporating quickly.

The Flames are probably gonna come out swinging for the first few shifts as they always do after a loss. But this team is going to be defined by their response after the first goal of the game is scored (regardless if it's them or us).

The team's character is on the line here. 4 straight "wake-up calls" will be humiliating. Just don't let up

Stay out of the box and we have a chance. Get into penalty trouble and we'll be wishing we were back in the Pittsburgh game.

Not a big fan of the two rookies together. They weren't good last time and there's a good chance they get eaten alive if Peters struggles with match ups. Trading Kulak was a mistake.

And I thought Jankowski was actually decent against Pittsburgh in the periods I watched. He shouldn't be sitting.

Also, this makes a lot of sense

If Backlund is truly injured, I'm not sure why we don't move him down to the third line and bring Lindholm up. Any line with Tkachuk will get looks offensively and if Backlund's shooting is impaired, then what's the point
