Feel so dirty after losing to a team like Montreal. Team needs to atone tonight.

Would have gone with Adam Oates and the Cult of Handedness vs Barry Trotz and the Turtle-no-necks (because we turtle and Barry has no neck, geddit?)

Tough loss for the Wild last night.

No idea if Parise is playing...but they really need a win tonight to keep pace with Colorado (as this is one of their games in hand).

That said...the Caps throttle em tonight.

Mojo gave his cooties to Latta. Clearly Wilson get it next.

8-19-77 again
It just doesn't work, all it does is hinder Ovechkin by focusing all the attention of the defense on him.

Pretty sure the when they switched the lines back to normal they started scoring against Montreal. Could be wrong

Wild uniforms :shakehead

Now I liked the old Minnesota North Stars uniforms. Still believe that if a team moves from a city, the team colors/nickname etc. should remain with the original city and not move with the club, i.e. Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Dodgers. That way if/when the city gets another team they can just dust off the colors/nickname, i.e. Cleveland Browns.

I think it's not a good combination at ES. 8-92-77, 65-19-14 is optimal and balanced.

Holtby starting again for reasons unknown

He needs to work on his game to get back to his Vezina level. Play Holtby for the back to back with the Wild/Hawks, play Grubi against the Pens.

I'm hoping to see Holtby string together a few games of less than 2.00 GAA.

I'm hoping the rest of the team show up in the 1st period instead of hanging him out to dry.

That being said, his numbers are underwhelming recently. I think he's still been solid (apart from maybe 1, or 2 games) but not near the elite level he had earlier this season.
