This is an article about the life and struggles of Mark Pavelich, one of the players from the Miracle on Ice team of 1980. I thought that it could be interesting.
As a personal anecdote, I got to meet him very briefly when I was a kid and he was playing in Switzerland with my hometown team, before returning to the US and having a short career in the NHL.
Heartbreaking to see him this way these days.
