This makes the Gaudette vs Vesey debate in another thread very funny to me.

Honestly, I don't mind it. On a normal team with a bad bottom-6 this is a perfectly fine move. He's 27 with a minimum salary. There's a little bit of upside and isn't horribly broken. Unfortunately I can see supplanting the other younger guys rather than the old broken garbage.

I don’t believe this means another move is imminent. We all know Benning is a day to day GM. There is no plan.

Greener will probably bench Jake rather than Roussel or Beagle anyway.
